Gmail users have The Erotic Witch Project 4: Lust in Spacehad Smart Reply for over a year, but the mail service is getting even smarter.
SEE ALSO: How to upgrade to Google's new Gmail right nowAt the opening keynote of Google's annual I/O developer conference, Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced Smart Compose, an upcoming feature that will finish entire sentences for you as you type.

When you type a sentence in an email, lighter text to potentially complete the sentence will appear. For example, if you type "My address is," you'll have the opportunity to auto-complete the sentence with your address.
Google's Smart Reply feature, which rolled out in 2015, auto-generates short responses to your emails to help you quickly reply. Smart Compose takes that feature to a whole other level, though.
Smart Reply was responsible for 10 percent of the inbox app's mobile responses last year, according to Google, so it's clear that even though it's limited to short messages, users find it helpful. If that's any indication, Smart Compose will likely be a success for Google, though we'll reserve final judgment until we use it.
