A very unfortunate side effect of being a woman in the public eye: Your name becoming a popular search term on AnticipationPornhub. And naturally, Cardi B's meteoric rise in popularity has led to... yes, more searches for her name on the popular adult video platform.
According to the website's data insights team, a sizable increase searches for the artist's name began in August 2017 when her single "Bodak Yellow" topped the charts.
SEE ALSO: Cardi B probably knows a lot more about President Franklin D. Roosevelt than you doSince then, it's been a pretty steady rise, save for a fluke 1,007 percent surge in search traffic after fans (incorrectly!) thought she'd filmed herself having sex with her fiancé Offset -- of Migos fame -- while streaming live on Instagram.
She didn't. And yet...
So, what exactly are people looking for? Per the insights team, search terms include "Cardi B Sex Tape" -- there isn't one, to our knowledge -- and "Cardi B stripper," among others. (Before turning to reality television and, eventually, a successful music career, the artist worked as a stripper.)
Suggestion: Rather than wasting time searching for Cardi B videos that don't exist, listen to her album Invasion of Privacyinstead.
