David Price,Watch Revenge Ride Online one of the Boston Red Sox's best pitchers, may need to quit playing Fortniteif he wants to keep playing baseball.
Price sat out Wednesday's game against the New York Yankees due to an issue with his hand — not an issue you want as a starting pitcher — which turned out to be carpal tunnel syndrome. After receiving the news, Price told ESPNthat he may have to quit playing the popular game Fortnite, which has taken the MLB by storm.
Although his condition may not have 100% come from Fortnite, Price is a known Fortniteplayer, and carpal tunnel syndrome can spring up in people who make small repetitive movements with their hands and fingers, namely typing or gaming.

"That's kind of my generation. That's what we do. If I need to shut down video games and pick up a new hobby, then so be it. But I do not think that's the cause.''
It's more likely that Price's carpal tunnel syndrome developed over the years from gaming and other activities and didn't stem specifically from Fortnite.
"If that was the cause of the problem, it started back in 1997 when I got my first PlayStation when I was 12 years old," he said.
Price is scheduled to return to the mound on Saturday against the Toronto Blue Jays. If his problem persists, he may need to get surgery, ESPNreported.
Price isn't the only one who's into Fortnitein Major League Baseball. As he said, he plays the game with other teammates, some of whom have been known to do little dances from Fortniteafter getting on base. The Houston Astros, last year's World Series champions, have done the same thing.
The Milwaukee Brewers even played some Fortnite on the jumbo screen last night.
