Elon Musk has an odd sense of humor. Sometimes he's genuinely funny, fingering videos sometimes he's in dad joke territory, and sometimes we're not sure whether his profile got hacked.
Musk's last couple of tweets fall into that last category.
SEE ALSO: Elon Musk just made a bad Twitter joke, and we are so confusedFirst, Musk tweeted a video of what appears to be a giant python eating a deer. Then he thought better of it. He deleted the tweet, saying the video "wigs" him out too much, whatever that means. THEN he compared the video with videos of fake rocket landings. Yes, we're still wrapping our head around that one.

A few people on Twitter quickly pointed out that the video Musk had originally posted is this one:

The video is not so bad (it does look a bit fake, though), if you like seeing animals being devoured by other animals. What's slightly worrying is Musk's original comment on the video: "Some places in the world you really shouldn't pass out." Wait, what? Because you'll be ... eaten?

Obviously, the entire thing looks like a joke, one that Musk quickly realized is not a very good one, so he deleted the video. Fair enough — even though a fair amount of people on Twitter did wonder whether his account got hacked. So what's with that comment about reversal?

I'm guessing by "reversal" Musk means playing the video backwards, which in this case would be a video of a kindly snake spitting out an antelope it accidentally ate (some people pointed out that the video is actually a reversed video of a snake regurgitating its prey, which snakes sometimes do). What would happen if you reversed a video of a fake rocket landing? I guess it would look like a fake rocket takeoff. What does that have to do anything? You'll have to ask Musk.
We did learn a couple of things from Musk's tweets today. First, the man likes animals. Well, some animals at least. He also chooses places to pass out with great care. And he watches funny videos on the internet. Keep up the tweets, Elon. It gets easier with practice.
