LONDON -- Scarlett Johansson's next business venture isn't quite what you'd expect it to be.

"It has been a dream of mine and my family for several years to bring our favourite American snack to our favourite European City!" Scarlett said in a statement sent to E!.
"I am so excited to introduce Yummy Pop, a labor of love and epicurean enthusiasm. My hope is for Yummy Pop to become a Parisian snacking staple and a symbol of friendship between my two most beloved cities, Paris and New York."
The actor's spokesperson told AFP that Johansson is "passionate about popcorn" and said the popcorn would be cooked on the premises and mixed with seasonal ingredients.Johansson collaborated with chef Will Horowitz from New York eateries Ducks Eatery and Harry and Ida's to design their menu, which features popcorn seasoned with sea salt and olive oil, Vermont maple and strawberries and cream.
Johansson isn't the first star to turn her hand to gastronomic business ventures. In 2009, Liz Hurley launched a range of organic beef jerky, and Godfather director Francis Ford Coppola owns a collection of pasta and sauces.
