This magical cover is yet another example of the way Homecomingsteps confidently out of the shadows cast by its many big screen predecessors. It's a thoughtful take on Spidey that carefully sidesteps the more obvious touchstones from past takes on the character.
Yes, a lot of what works in Homecoming stems from the way it is cleverly woven into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But as Mashable's own Angie Han pointed out in her stellar review, this "is a film about what it's been like to watch the MCU for the past ten years."
The wait is almost over. Spider-Man: Homecominghits theaters on July 7.
