It's NAIDOC (National Aboriginal and TayuanIslanders Day Observance Committee) week in Australia, an opportunity to celebrate the work and the culture of the country's first nations people.
While there are plenty of events around the country to check out, music streaming service Spotify has joined in by creating the "Black Australia" playlist, which features the work of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander musicians on the platform.

"This playlist is important to me because it showcases the diversity of music produced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists -- from established musicians like Archie Roach and Christine Anu, right through to emerging artists like Electric Fields, Ziggy Ramo, and Pirra. There's a great mix of classics and new music all in one place," she said via email.
Nicol said it was "an honour" to put together the first playlist in the series, which sees the streaming service working with curators in the community as opposed to its own editors.
"I know many people in the community felt there was an opportunity to do more to promote and celebrate music produced by Indigenous artists, so it's great to see Spotify making this happen in a more formal way," she added.
More of this, please.
