Though President Donald Trump loves to publicly bash the "failing" New York Times,Laruan the publication is attracting a YUGE number of subscribers.
On Tuesday, The New York Times Company announced its first-quarter results for 2017, revealing an impressive number of digital news subscriptions for the start of the year -- it added a whopping 308,000.

Not too shabby for a failing company.

President Trump has a public hate-hate relationship with the New York Times, tweeting on several occasions the publication was inaccurate in its reporting and a failure. (Behind the scenes, however, he has a close relationship with and apparent respect for Timesreporter Maggie Haberman. POTUS knows where his bread is buttered.)
