The bataille and eroticism45th president of the United States is Donald Trump, but you wouldn't know it by looking at this picture.
On Monday, Trump's prodigal daughter, Ivanka, sparked massive controversy after posting a photograph of herself seated at the historic desk in the Oval Office to her social media platforms.
As you know, this coveted spot is usually reserved for, well, the president.

Upon seeing the unconventional photograph, people began to angrily call the 35-year-old's authority into question. Many saw the pose as a disrespectful abuse of power, and reminded Ivanka that despite her heavy involvement with her father's administration, she is not the president.

Others, however, were far too distracted by Ivanka's caption, and began to question whether or not the businesswoman was referencing Solange's 2016 album, entitled, A Seat At The Table.
Since the powerful musical work focuses on the realities of being black in America, it added some extra fuel to the fire.

Though many were upset over the caption and the fact that Ivanka was seated in a chair designated for the leader of the United States, others saw the photo as an appropriate response to Monday's White House agenda, which focused partly on female entrepreneurship and empowerment.

Prior to posting the photograph, Trump and Trudeau took time to meet with female business executives (including Ivanka) from both the U.S. and Canada to discuss the future of women advancements in the business world. So Ivanka was likely attempting to make a statement about empowering women by literally taking "a seat at the table."

Even so, the photograph is simply the latest source of controversy surrounding the First Daughter.
Ivanka has been making headlines for weeks after clothing stores around the country, such as Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus, took a stand by pulling her brand from their shelves.
She also received serious backlash for tweeting a poorly timed photograph of herself and husband/presidential advisor Jared Kushner dressed for a black tie event right after her father signed an executive order banning seven predominantly Muslim nations from the U.S.
