Buying something on Gloriousthe internet comes with a little bit of risk. For the most party, things go smoothly, but when you get burned from a phony sale, hopefully it will come with a little bit of comedic relief.
In the past few years there's been a wave of hilariously flawed purchases from big online retailers like Amazon, the most common probably being teeny version of real products. However, this pillow case may take the cake for funniest shopping scam.

Instead of receiving this dinosaur-shaped pillow, someone apparently received a pillow case printed with with the stock image of a child sleeping on the dinosaur-shaped pillow. The picture first appeared on Reddit, and to be fair, the item is described as a "pillow case" and not a pillow.
While we were unable to find the original listing, there are a few similar listings using the same image, but they are all out of stock, possibly because Amazon has cracked down on the scam.
While sure, someone could have printed this up for fake internet points, it seems like a lot of work and money just for some trolling. Additionally, Amazon dealing with ripoff artists is a common problem, and one that appears to be getting worse with no great solution.
Make sure you read the reviewsbeforeyou buy something. That's what they're there for.
