Fighting games can poesti eroticeget personal. Just look at the ongoing beef between Street Fighter Vpros Kenneth "K-Brad" Bradley and Joshua "Wolfkrone" Philpot, which flared up once again at the ELeague Street Fighter VInvitational yesterday.
After Wolfrone beat K-Brad in a group stage match yesterday, the two shared a post-match interview where some heated words were thrown back and forth. The whole thing felt like a promo setup straight out of the WWE.

As K-Brad (on the right) was talking about how he couldn't figure out how to deal with Wolfkrone's fireballs, Wolfrone shouted out: "Excuses!"
K-Brad fired back.
"Stop talking, shut your mouth real quick," K-Brad said as the crowd started getting excited. "For one second, shut up. I'm trying to tell you that you did something good, you idiot."

Wolfkrone appeared to be a little toointo his victory to realize what K-Brad was saying. He started getting cocky right after he won when he popped off on stage with a smile on his face and told K-Brad he sucked.

"You see what happens when you don't have a crowd?" Wolfkrone said, likely referring to their last match at Final Round XX, where K-Brad was the one who came out victorious and popped off in Wolfkrone's face.

At their last match at Final Round, Wolfkrone seemed to be humbled and the two players ended up shaking hands. So either the two have unburied the hatchet or they're hamming up their feud to inject some drama into ELeague's tournament.
ELeague certainly wanted some attention on the drama. After the two came out on stage, ELeague specifically pointed a camera at a security guard on stage who was only there for this one match.

The image certainly adds some extra emotion to the situation, but some people in the fighting game community thought it was a step too far. The organizer of EVO (the biggest fighting game event in the world) Joey Cuellar tweeted at ELeague saying it was tasteless.

While some didn't like the look this gave the fighting game community, others liked the added layer of drama. One thing is for sure: Trash talk isn't going away anytime soon in the fighting game community.
