The free x rated moviespeople are revolting. Donald Trump took the oath of office Friday and in part with that transition he has taken over the @POTUS account.
Without any doing of your own, Twitter has made it so that if you followed @POTUS under Obama you're automatically following his now archived account at @POTUS44 in addition to the @POTUS account under Trump. That shouldn't come at a surprise -- if you read Mashableor The White House's official blog earlier this week.

President Trump takes to Snapchat. But if you weren't prepping for the Twitter transition, you might have been a little put off seeing tweets from Trump as @POTUS in the timeline. Even more off-putting, Twitter users are reporting that even if they weren't following the account, Twitter has made it so.

The same may be true for the other accounts moved in transition. Trump's administration now has @FLOTUS for Melania Trump, @WhiteHouse, @VP for Mike Pence and @PressSec for Sean Spicer. The accounts from the last administration have been converted to @POTUS44, @FLOTUS44, @ObamaWhiteHouse, @VP44 and @PressSec44.
For each of the accounts, the followers were replicated. The whole process took some time, which caused the follower account to drop on both accounts. In the hours that followed, it was supposed to be completed but it appears there may have been some errors in the transition.
What we do know is that @POTUS had 13.6 million followers Thursday. Now, @POTUS44 has 14.1 million and @POTUS under Trump has 14.4 million. It is unclear if the increase is due to new followers for Trump's presidential account and Obama's archived account or if it is a technical glitch.
Twitter is aware of a potential problem and engineers are investigating the reports.

Twitter users and the Trump administration appear to be on high alert over the digital transition.
The administration banned the National Park Service from tweeting after the account retweeted a post that compared crowds at Obama and Trump's inauguration ceremonies, Gizmodoreported.
Keep an eye out for Team Trump, sliding into your timeline.
UPDATEJan. 20, 2017, 11:20 p.m. EST: The reports of a glitch are NOT TRUE, according to the team at Twitter. There are still two scenarios for why a Twitter user could think there was an error.
If you're a Twitter user who chose to block @POTUS to avoid seeing tweets from @POTUS under Trump before the time of the inauguration, you actually blocked the account @POTUS44. Therefore, you'll need to block @POTUS, again, and maybe think about apologizing to Obama's archived account.
You may be a Twitter user who unfollowed @POTUS in the few minutes where Twitter had already counted you as a follower to be transferred over to the new @POTUS account. So, again, you will need to press unfollow another time.
Perhaps instead of sending tweets complaining about a glitch around @POTUS, just follow, unfollow or block. But definitely keep an eye on @POTUS violating Twitter's Community Standards. According to Twitter, combating abuse is the company's number one priority.
