At the top of the Amazon Prime site, click on "Orders & Returns" and find the order you want to cancel. You can also start the cancelation process by clicking "Review or edit your recent orders" directly on the order confirmation page.

Once you've found the order you want to cancel, click the button or view or edit the purchase.

From here, it's pretty straightforward. Click "Cancel items" to cancel your order.

Once you've chosen to cancel your order, you'll be navigated to a page confirming this choice. You can opt to select a reason why you want to cancel, but it's not required. Click "Cancel selected items in this order."

Credit: Amazon If you see "Request cancellation" instead of "Cancel items," that means your order was purchased through a third-party, which has a slightly different process. In "Orders," find the product you want to cancel. From here, click "Request Cancellation." If that option is no longer available, click "Contact Third-Party Seller" to message the vendor. Amazon says you should receive a reply within two days, but you'll often receive a reply sooner than that.
If the option to cancel your order isn't available, that's because it has already shipped. You might still be able to cancel the order by clicking "Track package" and then "Cancel this delivery." If that option isn't available, you can return your order for free through Amazon's online return process. Start a return by finding your order and clicking "Return or replace items."
