But one good teacher in Austin, Texas, is bringing us some goodness that we so desperately need.

On Twitter, user Sophie Vershbow shared an image of her friend's boyfriend, an AP English teacher.

This proud teacher apparently brings his corgi, Banjo, to school every day. He proudly holds the noble doggo for picture day in this particular photo.

"Less teachers with guns," says Vershbow in her Tweet. "More teachers with corgis."

Twitter users were quick to rally their support behind this unlikely hero.

Some even shared pictures of their own scholarly dogs.

We hope that Banjo and Banjo's owner are having a good, education day and that they continue to brighten the lives of their students (and Twitter followers).
